Adaptive and accommodating karate classes offered for individuals with autism or other special needs who benefit from a modified approach to martial arts. Description
This is an adaptive and accommodating karate class offered for individuals with autism or other special needs who benefit from a modified approach to martial arts. Classes will be led by Master Kim Taber, a Fifth Degree Blackbelt and instructor at Lunging Tiger Karate Studio. A parent/ guardian or support staff is expected to stay and support the child attendee(s) whom they register. Classes run once a month from July-November 2026, and are offered in 2 different time slots by age. 1:00-1:30pm for children ages 5-12 and 1:45-2:15pm for teens and young adults ages 13-25.
